The Nigerian Professional Football League(NPFL) is gradually getting to its climax as teams battle for the prestigious Trophy, while others battle for Continental tickets others are faced with the uphill task of escaping the ugly claws of relegation.
This season has not been left out as a surprise team emerged as newcomers, Plateau United has shown a strong challenge for the league title, the Jos based team currently lead the league table with 55 points (5 points above second place Akwa United of Uyo).
We hope they can fight to the finish and make history in the most competitive football leagues in Africa.
