GIST: Drake’s “One Dance” With Wizkid Becomes First Song To Reach 1 Billion Spotify Plays
Drake’s dancehall-inspired
record “One Dance” featuring
WizKid and Kyla as at
December 16, had 1.001 billion
streams to become the most
streamed song in Spotify history.
This comes barely 2 weeks after
his album VIEWS was certified 4x
platinum earlier this month and
Spotify recently announced
that Drake was its most
streamed artist for the second
consecutive years after Drake
received eight Grammy
nominations, including Album of
the Year.
